CorelDRAW X6 :: Failed To Save Document?

During the Auto-backup, the document failed to save in the background.
I can't do anything about it.If I try to close the document, it'll prompt me to save it, leading to the same failure.
So I can only quit CorelDraw without saving the document. And if I reopen the same file, same thing happens.So I end up recreating everything.
It only happen to the particular file and not others.

Elements 7 used to place my photos in a new document and there was very little resizing to do. now with elements 10 and 11, my photos are placed way larger than the document and i have alot of annoying resizing to do on every one. There must be a way to change this.

A client sent an InDesign IDML file. I opened it at exported its stories as .txt files.
When I tried to place the texts in a new InDesign CS5 document, the text displayed strangely. Mostly, I see rectangles with exes through them. It looks likethe headers of an unreadable format. Some of the characters are normal alhabetic glyphs.
When I open the text files in TextEdit, they display normally. If I copy and paste, the texts look fine in the InDesign document.
What could cause this problem, and how can I fix it?

I am trying to place an .eps image on an InDesign document, however, the blue bounding box in Illustrator is cropping part of the image. I can see the full image in Illustrator. Maybe the bounding box is too close to the edge of the logo? Below is the what it looks like when I place it in InDesign and what it looks like in Illustrator. Is there a way I can include the missing part of the image? I am not the creator of the logo and received it from another company.

Successfully installed & activated Photoshop CS3 on a new PC with a fresh Windows 7 Pro 64bit installation, along with Photoshop CS3 10.0.1 & Bridge CS3 2.1.1.9 updates. Bridge runs fine, but Photoshop returns the following error when attempting to launch the program, 'Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error.' Attempted to resolve by the following steps:
Remove/reinstall CS3 in root directoryRemove/reinstall CS3Disable TWAIN driverDownloaded & installed latest NVidia video card drivers.
Noticed the following message in PSErrorLog.txt every time Photoshop CS3 is launched, '2013:10:31 09:41:33 sourcesOWLPanelManager.cpp : 1602 : REQUIRE failed' Downloaded & installed AdobeOwl.dll for this reason, but without success.

Photoshop CC kept crashing so I uninstalled and reinstalled. now every time I try to add text to psd it says some prevented text engine from initializing.

I am trying to open a video to edit within Photoshop CS6 x64. I am getting the following message:-
Could not place the document ‘IMG_1664.MOV’ because no parser or file format can open the file.
The video was shot on my iphone 4S and ive even tried converting to other formats yet Photoshop still gives the same error. I have checked through Bridge and I have no option to send to Photoshop on the right click menu. try out the new features of CS6 for video editing.
I am running a 27' iMac with 12gb RAM and 1gb of Video RAM.

After Effects :: Background Processes Initialization Much Longer In CS6

When launching a render, the message 'background processes initializing / this may take a while' gets stuck more than 70s in CS6, whatever the project, whereas it was never on more than 10s in CS5. We're back to the CS4 delays here.
On a side note, the multiprocessing is a bit weird:
Before it was pretty straightforward : When 10 cores were used for the render, the frames were rendered by batches of 10. With CS6 it's different : A first batch of 3 frames get rendered, then another one of 14 (!!), then I lost track of the process. Is multiprocessing so different in CS6 ?

My X4 crashes ('Corel Paint Shop Pro X4 has stopped working' message) during the program start-up ('Initialing Palettes' of the splash screen). I have tried uninstalling and re-installing without success. I have tried installing X4 Service pack 1 without success. I updated my NVIDIA driver to the latest version, without success.

I am using Photoshop cs6. I purchased a template for magazine advertising purposes. The images have been taken out but there are custom designed objects (masked shapes) where I am supposed to place my images. When I attempt to place a photo into one of the shapes, using the Place Command, it does not work.
How can I place an image into one of the objects?

Photoshop :: Why Place Command Won't Place Other PSD Precisely

I am using Photoshop CS6. I have a question about Photoshop command Place.(File- Place) . Here are some pictures below. It shows the problem.
I opened the PSD file that has a green circle(picture 1) and using Place command to import other PSD file that has a red circle(picture2). Those 2 PSD files are same size, same canvas size, 1024x1024. So it should place the red circle precisely on the green circle, but as you can see, if I import the red circle PSD into Green circle PSD, Place command won't place the red circle pensively on the green circle. There is a gap between those 2 circles.(Picture3) It's really frustrating, because I have to move the red circle layer manually to place it just onto the green circle.
This command 'Place' isn't reliable, so usually I don't use this command, and use Duplicate layer or group to import contents of other PSD, but if Place command can import other PSD file without this gap problem, I will use it because it's much faster than duplicating.
Do you know why and how to place those 2 files without the gap? Is it a glitch? I should not use Place command to import other PSD file?
